‘In 9 days, it’ll be 5 years since the remaining Chibok girls were kidnapped’ – Ezekwesili

A former presidential candidate and Minister of Education, Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili has reacted to the continued abduction of the Chibok school girls.

According to the former minister, the girls who were abducted from their secondary school in Chibok, Borno state in April 2014, will soon mark 5 years in Boko Haram captivity.

In just 9 days, it’ll be 5 years since 112 remaining ChibokGirls were abducted from their secondary school in Borno State, the #BringBackOurGirls convener said.

She lamented that the present government of President Muhammadu Buhari has done nothing to free the girls.

Speaking via her Twitter handle on Thursday, the former presidential candidate of the Action Congress Party of Nigeria, ACPN said :

Not a word on the status of their rescue by MBuhari ‘s FG.
It is a shame. A grand shame.

We shall never forget them.
What’s left to be said?

Truth is, our Land and people do pay for every injustice that our government fails to address Buhari .

In 9 days it’ll be 5 years of the cry of Chibokgirls and  ChibokParents.

112 ChibokGirls abducted 5 years ago in school.

I DapchiGirl abducted 1 year ago and left behind.

Imagine 112 + 1 daughters abducted for 5 years and 1 respectively. Imagine the cries of distress.
