The Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has allayed injury scare going into their next match against Algeria at the ongoing African Cup of Nations.

Speaking with journalists while giving updates about his team’s fitness ahead of their semi-final fixture he said the trio of Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa and Chidozie Awaziem may not be available for the Sunday’s clash.

His words:

“Odion Ighalo has a calf injury, Ahmed Musa has adductor while Chidozie Awaziem coped ankle.
“But the team doctor has assured me that the said players will be ready and fit to play in the semi-finals,”
