Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly killed a Naval Officer identified as Felix Akanbi along Benin – Ore express road on Tuesday, July 17th.
According to reports, the gunmen who were armed with AK47 rifles intercepted an 18 seater bus between Ekiadolor and Ovia river bridge along the Benin-Lagos highway and opened fire on the bus.
The deceased and other occupants of the bus were abducted and led into the bush.

The deceased was shot and killed because he could not walk as fast as others.
The police attached to the area swung into action and gave the kidnappers a hot chase after receiving reports of the attack.
The police rescued seven of the abducted passengers and the body of the late Felix Akanbi after a frantic search.
