The House of Representatives has ordered immediate shut down of the Edo State House of Assembly by the Inspector General of Police and Director of State Services.
The governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki was also directed by the House to issue fresh proclamation within one week and publish same in a national newspaper.
This decision follows investigation into the crisis in the Edo State House of Assembly.
