Sex Toy Senator Abbo Granted Bail
Senator Elisha Abbo, who has been embroiled in trouble since the video of him assaulting a nursing mother in a sex toy shop in Abuja surfaced has been granted bail.
Abbo, on Thursday, surrendered himself to the Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory for questioning over the assault on a nursing mother.
Supreme Court Dismisses Adeleke’s Appeal, Upholds Oyetola’s Victory
An appeal by Senator Ademola Adeleke challenging the declaration of Gboyega Oyetola as the winner of the Osun State governorship election has been dismissed.
The Supreme Court, in the lead judgement delivered by Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour, ruled that the absence of the judge who read the majority decision of the election tribunal, Justice Peter Obiorah, on one of the hearings renders the entire proceedings a nullity.
Group Warns Lagos Lawmaker Over Interference in Kogi Politics
The Kogi Renaissance Forum, KRF, has issued a strong warning to James Faleke, a member representing Ikeja, Lagos State at the House of Representatives, to stop interfering unnecessarily with the current political affairs in Kogi State.
This was made known by the coordinator of the group, Alhaji Ahmed Jibrin while addressing journalists in Abuja.

A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim forfeiture of $40m worth of jewellery belonging to ex-Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Allison Madueke, to the federal government. The judgement was delivered on Friday by Justice Nicholas Oweibo.
RUGA; Be Ready To Defend Yourselves Against Any Attack – Ohanaeze President To Igbos
The President-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Nnia Nwodo has advised Igbos to be ready to defend themselves against “northern war-mongers”.This was in reaction to the 30-day ultimatum issued by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNGs) to governors who opposed to the Ruga settlement programme to reconsider their stand.

The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, on Thursday said that there is a sponsored campaign against the board. Oloyede made the allegations while presenting another suspect to newsmen, Kokowa Cletus, a 20-year-old boy who allegedly falsified his Unified Tertiary Admissions Examination (UTME) result.
