The Nigeria police force has arraigned a commercial bus driver identified as, Taiye Musa, before an Igbosere high court over the allegation that he caused the death of a one-year-old baby as a result of reckless driving.
According to the prosecuting Inspector, Ingobo Emby, the driver of the commercial bus marked APP 584 XX committed the offence on July 9th at Elf bustop along Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The mother of the baby, Mrs. Tochukwu Uligwe, was said to have survived the accident while the baby, who was strapped on her back, died on the spot.
The presiding judge granted the accused N300, 000 bail with two sureties in the like sum and the case adjourned to August 23rd.
