My Prayer Is That Nigeria Remain As One Indivisible Nation — Babangida

Ibrahim Babangida, a former military ruler, has shared that his only prayer for Nigeria is that the country should remain as one indivisible nation.

He made this known while celebrating his 78th birthday at his Hilltop residence in Minna on Saturday.

Babangida was the military President of Nigeria between Aug. 27, 1985, and Aug. 26, 1993.

His words:

“My prayer is that Nigeria should remain as one indivisible nation. Therefore, I call on all Nigerians to work for the unity and development of the country as there is no other home like Nigeria,”
