A federal high court sitting in Abuja has sentenced Olisa Metuh, a former spokesman of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) to 39 years imprisonment after he was found guilty for a money-laundering related offence.
There was a moment of drama before the presiding judge, Okon Abang delivered judgement as the former spokesman asked that he should be allowed to use the toilet briefly after he was pronounced guilty.

He was then handed the judgement on returning to the court room on Tuesday, 25th February.
