Following the US travel ban on Nigerians, Reno Omokri has taken to his IG page to react, saying Nigeria is the best country in the world.
According to the author, he is proud to be Nigerian, despite all the bad governance.

“Everywhere I go, I go being proud of Nigeria. The US ban does not stop Nigeria from being the best country in the world, even though we have the worst government on Earth. One day, this government will go, but the brilliance of Nigerians will last forever! What other people on Earth can thrive in every part of the world, like Nigerians. It used to be said that if you go anywhere and you don’t see a Chinese man, you should leave. But Nigerians have changed that narrative. We are everywhere. We work hard and smart. In the US, people now attract crowds to their parties by saying ‘the Nigerians will be there’. From Russia to Ecuador, Davido, Wizkid and P-Square rule the airwaves. And in places as far as South Korea, Things Fall Apart is compulsory reading. Nollywood is overtaking other hoods and delivering the goods. Nigerians have that Midas Touch!
