A video footage of the incident circulating online captures the moment Balista struck Ude, with a brick on his head while they were having a verbal and a physical confrontation at Kempton Park, Johannesburg, South Africa on Monday, just before 7pm.

Police officers were present at the scene as they had been trying to calm the situation down as the men squabbled.

It was gathered that the deceased had allegedly stood surety for the suspect so he could borrow money from some people but he reneged on the agreement to pay up.

However, when pressure became too much on Ude, he approached Batista to honour the agreement and this led to a fight.

The victim collapsed at the scene and died at the Arwyp Hospital around 3pm, on Tuesday.

Batista is expected to appear before the Kempton Park Magistrates Court today, where he will face a murder charge.
