Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor, has given scholarship to children of slain policemen who lost their lives to the recent #EndSARS protest in Lagos.
The governor, on Wednesday, gave the directive to the Lagos State Scholarship Board to award the children of the deceased Police officers with scholarship up to University level.
It was reported that twenty-nine Divisional Police Stations and seventeen Police Posts were destroyed by hoodlums who disguised as protesters. Six Police officers were reportedly lynched, thirty-six were critically injured and seventy-one police operational vehicles were damaged.
The governor who paid a visit to the command’s headquarters at Ikeja encourage the force members and promised to rebuild the burnt police stations and also give life insurance to police officers.
