Barely a few months after being the subject of ridicule on social media for her choice of outfit, Nollywood actress Rahama Sadau has once again been berated by fellow Muslims.
The movie star had taken to her page on Twitter with a picture in which she was spotted with friend and Tajik singer, Shabnam Surayyo. Rahama rocked an outfit that revealed a part of her shoulder and left her hair flowing just above her shoulder.

However, the innocent post from the film star seemed to have riled up some of her Muslims followers who were quick to caution her in the comment section.
The displeased followers noted that a part of her shoulder should not be left for prying eyes as it is forbidden in the religion of Islam.
One follower who called on the actress to shun the ways of the Westerners and champion northern fashion wrote:
“We don’t need to copy them just so we can impress them rn you have the power to take northern fashion beyond the borders of Nigeria @Rahma_sadau and others you can show the world how spectacular and amazing the northern part of Nigeria is….we don’t need to copy them tbh.”
Another follower told the actress that her choice of outfit is not befitting for one who hopes to receive the blessings of Allah.
