Reno Omokri has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being aware of the shooting of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate by men of the Nigerian army.
On Thursday, President Buhari nominated the immediate past service chiefs of the nation as ambassadors.
It was revealed that President Buhari has forwarded the names of the nominees to the Senate as non-career ambassadors-designate.

Reacting to this development, Omokri expressed that the nomination of former Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai, is a plot to give him immunity, escape arrest and prosecution by the International Criminal Court.
He wrote:
“The nominating of Buratai by @MBuhari as ambassador designate, so he can have diplomatic immunity, and escape (so he thinks) arrest by International Criminal Court @IntlCrimCourt, is evidence of Buhari’s guilt, proving he was aware of #LekkiMassacre and is covering up for Buratai.”
