Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa has vowed that the commission will get those hindering the progress of Nigeria.
He made this known while speaking at a statehouse press briefing held in Abuja on Thursday.
Bawa stated that the EFCC is committed to ensuring that Nigeria is free of all forms of financial and economic crimes.
He said the commission has a “motivated workforce leveraging on the support of every stakeholder and party both at home and abroad to deliver on the vision of Nigeria free of all forms of economic and financial crimes.”
“Please don’t cross the line and do remember that if you are not one of us taking Nigeria to its promised land, the EFCC will get you anywhere, anytime.”
“Nigeria is the only country we have. We are the ones to safeguard it and of course, we need the support of those home and abroad,” he said.
