2023: Atiku Appoints Saraki, Anyim, Shekarau, Others As Special Advisers

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate and a former vice president of Nigeria, has made significant appointments of Special Advisers in an effort to boost his presidential campaign team ahead of the start of the 2023 election campaign on Wednesday.

Former Senate Presidents Dr. Bukola Saraki and Senator Pius Anyim have been named as special advisers and envoys to the presidential campaign, respectively.

Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a former governor of Kano State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, a former governor of Osun State, and Senator Ehigie Uzamere have all been appointed as special advisers to the candidate.

Former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus was also appointed as Technical Adviser to the presidential candidate.

The appointments are to take immediate effect.

Atiku Abubakar charged the appointees to use their vast political experiences in ensuring that the PDP presidential campaign records resounding success in the 2023 election.
