PDP Crisis: Tambuwal Has Not Resigned As Governors Forum Chair, says DG
Tambuwal

Aminu Tambuwal, the Governor of Sokoto, has denied resigning as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Governors Forum, according to the party.

There were claims earlier on Thursday that Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo, had taken over as the forum’s chairman after Tambuwal’s resignation.

The forum’s director-general, C.I.D. Maduabum, however, stated in a statement that Tambuwal will remain in his post while the party attempts to resolve the dilemma.
