Arsenal’s Maitland-Niles has joined Southampton on a season-long loan deal, after signing a contract extension until 2024 with his parent club.
The 25-year-old English international is one of the good summer businesses Southampton have done this window.
He surely will be a great addition to the midfield and full-back roles in the team due to his versatility and commitment to duty.

The player offers Southampton’s coach, Ralph Hasenhutti, options in different formations, and this peculiarity in Niles was one of the reasons he’ll play for the Saints this season.
Consequently, the player is set to join his new teammates and prepare with the team for the Premier League clash with Wolves at Molineux on Sunday.
