Chelsea Snatch 2-0 Win Over Nine-Man Arsenal

Kurt Zouma and Eden Hazard were the goal scorers as Chelsea emerge victorious against Arsenal, who had two of their players sent off.

The French defender headed home the opener in the 53rd minute from a Cesc Fabregas free-kick before Hazard opened his account for the season with a shot that went in off substitute Calum Chambers.

Arsene Wenger brought on Chambers following Gabriel’s sending off in the first half for flicking his heel at Diego Costa. The Spaniard was on his own part lucky not to have received his marching orders despite thrice swiping at Laurient Koscielny’s face.

Midfielder Santi Cazorla received a second yellow card and the second red of the day for a foul on Fabregas ten minutes from time.

The Gunners have now lost their second match this season and are fourth on the table with ten points, while the win was just Chelsea’s second in six matches, taking their tally to seven points.
