Olisa Metuh In More Trouble As He Tears Own Voluntary Statement To EFCC

Olisa-Metuh

The embattled spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, has reportedly ran into a fresh trouble with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for tearing his voluntary statement to the commission.

Metuh reportedly tore the statement he volunteered earlier to the operatives after he was arrested, last week, for questioning over allegation that he received N400 million of the $2.1 billion arms cash from the Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA).

Vanguard quoted a source to have said Metuh took the action after he noticed that his hunger strike aimed at forcing his release did not move the operatives.

The PDP scribe was said to have been presented with copies of his statement to endorse by the investigating officer, but rather than sign the documents, seized them and tore them. He was even said to have tried to stuff the torn pieces in his mouth before he was stopped by the operatives.

“The tearing of statement is tantamount to willful destruction of government property and it is a serious offence,” Vanguard quoted an EFCC official to have said.

“Also, the fact that he obstructed operatives from performing their job is also a criminal offence. We will explore the possibility of filing a separate charge against him at the Federal Capital Territory High Court,” the source said.

  1. I told you people last time that Olisa Metuh is a criminal,a motor park boy before he joined politics, with his recent behaviour with EFCC. In fact his cup of iniquity has been over filled, Only God knows all the abominably act the man has been involved. All am saying is that the EFCC should collect even the last kobo of loot from him. & yet still sentence not below thirty five years imprisonment. If possible visit his home town & size his compound.
