Four years ago, Social media didn’t play a large role in getting people elected- politicians could get away with having no presence on Facebook or Twitter.
Its amazing how so much can change in such a short span of time. Today, social media has become a necessity for any serious politician with aspirations to public office- it has largely become a determinant of whether or not he is considered ‘cool’.

The run up to America’s general elections has not been short on drama and intrigue. If Donald Trump could become the presumptive nominee of the Republican party, then you already understand where all the drama is from. The brash businessman is squaring off against the presumptive nominee of the democrats, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
