A video of a training that went wrong which involved a police dog which was taking part in a series of security drills for the Rio Olympic Games with its handler has emerged.
The video shows the dog sent to stop a man who was also part of the exercise.
Things then suddenly turn nasty as the dog’s handler who comes in to stop the drill gets attacked.
With just a vest as protection, the handler is knocked to the ground with the dog refusing to back down.
Another officer then rushes to free the handler.
It is unclear if the handler required any medical attention after the attack.
The Olympic Games starts on August 5.
