Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it has deployed 25,000 regular and special marshals and 869 patrol vehicles for special patrols to ensure accident-free movements on the road during the festive period.

A statement by the FRSC’s Head, Media Relations and Strategy, Mr. Bisi Kazeem, gave the indication, quoting
the Corps Marshal, Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi, as directing that measures be intensified to ensure free flow of traffic, reduction in road crashes, improved enforcement of traffic laws, and improved enlightenment on the proper use of roads.
.Oyeyemi specifically said the corps should “focus on traffic control, excessive speeding, dangerous driving and overtaking, and failure to use/install speed limit device”.
