See How Daddy Freeze Reacted After Bishop Oyedepo Said He’s Worth More Than $150m

Daddy Freeze has come hard on Nigerian pastor Bishop David Oyedepo after the latter said he’s worth more than $150 million.

Informationng.com had made a post yesterday, showing the moment Bishop Oyedepo told his congregation that the statistic pegging his worth at $150 million was insulting and that he is more than the said amount.

After seeing the video, Daddy who is known for his scathing attacks on Nigerian pastors and their teachings, re-posted it on his Instagram page and made some commentary slamming Bishop Oyedepo’s statement.

Below is what he had to say:

And he is there quoting
Phillipians 419

Pun intended

Why doesn’t he quote verses that show the true state of the disciples who were poor, homeless and hungry? Or why doesn’t he quote verses that show that the disciples shared everything and no one owned anything??? Why doesn’t he tell us the real truth about how the disciples lived and died?

1 Corinthians 4:11
New International Version
**
To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.

The ignorance in the interpretation of the Bible is so great these days and their understanding amazingly carnal. In the book of Job22:24 where he got this verse from, the Bible is not saying you will lay Gold up as dust, it says the value of your Gold will be as dust, throw it in the river bed and God will be your Gold and Silver.

A literal translation, taken directly from the King James Version will leave you with a very CARNAL understanding of the message.

Job 22:24-25 KJV
[24] Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. [25] Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

However if you study the amplified version and every other version, the true ‘spiritual’ explanation of this scripture will be properly understood.

Job 22 Amplified Bible (AMP)
**********
[24] And place your gold in the dust,
And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks [considering it of little value],
[25]
And make the Almighty your gold
And your precious silver,
