What Saraki said about Wednesday building collapse in Lagos

Many Nigerians including the president of the senate, Bukola Saraki have expressed concerns regarding the collapsed 3-storey building, which housed a school.

The building collapse occurred on Wednesday at Ita Faaji area on Lagos Island, leaving many pupils, among those trapped within the rubbles.

There is currently a rescue exercise at the scene of the collapse to save victims including the young school children.

Speaking on Wednesday, the senate president expressed his concerns about the trapped school children and sending his hear felt prayers to families of the victims.

His words: My heartfelt prayers are with all the families affected by today’s building collapse in the Ita-Faaji area of Lagos Island, particularly the young school children who are reportedly trapped inside. I pray for their safe rescue.
