Car Accident in New York Kills 5 Nigerians

Five Nigerians, including two children, were killed at the early hours of Sunday in a car crash near the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens, New York.

New Agency of Nigeria (NAN) learnt that three of the eight persons in the vehicle survived the accident. It was gathered that the accident occurred when the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in which the victims were travelling, swerved after speeding through two red lights, slammed into a concrete pillar, rolled over and burst into flames.

The victims were said to be indigenes of Imo State, who attended a two-day annual convention of the Arondizuogu Patriotic Union National Congress of North America.

  1. Some times I wonder what these world kooks like. Such a beautiful and enjoying environment, New York to be compared with heaven, but yet one things or the other keeps peoples to death, this is my people, whom would have brought good news back home if they had return, but death didn’t let it be. May their souls rest in the bosom of thy lord, May God give the families of these victims to heart to mourn them and console them?
