59 Students Expelled By Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa for Examinations Malpractices

Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, Nasarawa State has expelled 59 students for examination malpractices.

According to the school’s registrar, Hajiya Fati Jimeta, the students were caught during the 2011/2012 academic session, but the school management just reached the decision to expel the students at a meeting of the Academic Board.

The Registrar said 41 of the expelled students were part-time students, while 18 were full-time. In view of their offences, the expelled students have been blacklisted by the university.

Jimeta urged students to shun acts capable of tarnishing their image and that of the school, adding that the school will do whatever it costs to rid the school of examination malpractices
