Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido has observed that Nigeria’s challenges can only be overcome if Nigerians collectively agree to retrace their steps and return to God stressing that the nation has encountered numerous challenges including the recent flood disaster that has left millions stranded.
The governor noted that the problems experienced by Nigerians this year were signs that something was wrong somewhere that required prayers by every Nigerian, adding that all hands must be on deck for the country to move ahead.
He assured flood victims in the state of relief materials, just as he promised his administration’s judicious use of the N400 million donated by the Federal Government to assist the victims.
Meanwhile, Lamido has indicated the state’s preparedness to receive President Goodluck Jonathan, who would be visiting on a two-day working tour.
