Amaechi Names Street In Port Harcourt After Late NSA

As eulogies continue to pour in for late formerĀ  National Security Adviser, General Andrew Owoeye Azazi, the Rivers state governor and chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum, Rotimi Amaechi, on Saturday, while speaking at the funeral service of the late General, who died in a Helicopter crash on 15th December 2012, described him as an elder brother whom he looked up to for advice whenever he was troubled.

Mr Amaechi also used the occassion to announce the naming of a street in Port Harcourt in honour of the former NSA and thanked the Bayelsa State government for giving him a state burial.

The late Azazi was buried at the Ijaw National Heroes Park in Yenegoa, the Bayelsa state capital.
