Mrs. Rose Nwankego-Ogbemudia, wife of Sam Ogbemudia Jr. has died at an Indian hospital after losing battle to cancer.
Rose who is the wife of two-time governor of the defunct Midwest and Bendel states, Dr Samuel Ogbemudia’s first son, was said to have battled cancer for a very long time after she was diagnosed in a Nigerian hospital before she was transferred to India where she eventually died.
A member of the Ogbemudia family, who confirmed the death of Rose, said that her remains have since been flown back to Nigeria while burial arrangements are already in progress.
Mrs Rose Ogbemudia, a native of Nnewi, Anambra State, was born in 1964, and was married to Sam Ogbemudia Jr. for twenty-five years; a marriage blessed with five children.
