Tiwa Bankole aka Tiwabanks, the upcoming singer that was reportedly stabbed by her landlord’s youngest son on Monday in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos state, has spoken up for the first time since the news became public knowledge.
‘I thank God I didn’t die. I never expected to end the year like this’, Tiwa said in relation to the unfortunate incident.
Tiwa who is currently receiving medical care at Veta Hospital, located at Araromi B/Stop, Iyana Ipaja, allegedly got stabbed by Tobi Obadina because she wasn’t talking to him.
However, the culprit has been arrested by the police and is currently cooling his heels at the Mosholashi Police Station.
