Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero is on his way back to Kano from London; this is according to a report by Daily Trust.
The Emir is said to already be airborne and will arrive in Kano later today (Wednesday).
It would be recalled that the reverred Emir and two of his sons were flown to the United Kingdom on January 20 after an attempt on his life by gunmen riding on a motorcycle a day earlier; the 83-year old monarch however escaped unhurt but his sons were reported to have sustained injuries in the attack.
