The Boko Haram Amnesty Committee announced by President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday suffered a setback as a nominee, Dr Ibrahim Datti Ahmed rejected his nomination.
Datti, a medical doctor and President of the Supreme Council of Sharia in Nigeria, is the second nominee to pull out of the committee in the last 24 hours after civil rights activist, Comrade Shehu Sani declined to serve on the committee.
Although, Dr Datti has not given reasons for his refusal to be on the committee which is comprised of eminent Nigerians, Comrade Sani on the other hand said he was not consulted before his name was included on the committee.
If the northern committee members are pulling out one after the other, They should beg their counterpart from niger delta. Their elders there know how to win terrorists over.
Why are you pulling out one by one
Na der dem go fear die,mak em no pull out cos dei re al goin 2b buried in dis pit dei dug, hahahahahahaha, noting wea longer throat no d bring, parents re afred of bein killed by der own children, kobo kobo na im go kill northern elders, dei shud includ sars, bukar abba nd senior ndume.
What Comrade Sani & Dr Ibraham Datti did is right, they show us what we are expecting. Allah will bless them.
GEJ administration is a confused 1. How can u saddle someone w a responsibility wout informing dat person b4 hand. Those dat reject it r ple of character because it seems Jonathan just want to dent there image through ds useless committee.
i tink d gov’t is makng mistak 4 nt informng dem b4 nominatng and dos who poll out, will dey com bak if dey follow due process or dere is sm ting bhind it?
