The immediate past Chairman of the Kwara State chapter of Nigerian Medical&Dental Association, NMA, Dr Adewunmi Ariyo,42, has been reportedly killed by unknown assassins.
Five suspected suspected assassins were said to have stormed the house of the father of three, at Basin area of Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, on Thursday night, killing him.
Ariyo’s murder came exactly four days after the burial of the former state Police Commissioner, Chinwike Asadu, who was equally killed by unknown assassins near his house in Enugu State last month.
The five assassins who killed Ariyo were said to have laid ambush on him at the entrance of his residence.
The deceased was known to be a vocal and renowned member of the NDA.
