Suspected Bomber Lynched By Mob In Kano

Kano-State-GovernorAggrieved Kano residents yesterday paid back a suspected bomber in his own coin when he was apprehended and killed near the Emir of Kano’s palace known as “Kofar Kwaru”.

The suspected bomber was said to have been nabbed immediately after setting off an Improvised Explosive Device near a Mosque very close to the palace of the Emir, Ado Bayero on Wednesday after night prayer – about 8pm.

The aggrieved residents who defied imminent danger after the explosion went off at Kofar Fatalwa by the Kano Central Mosque, arrested one of the bombers who had arrived on a tricycle to set off the bomb.

It was learnt that the residents pursued the terrorists after the blast, lynched him and pushed him into the tricycle that was already burning and handed over another to security operatives.

The spokesperson for the Joint Task Force in Kano, Ikedioha Iweha, confirmed the explosion.

He  also confirmed that no one died from the explosion aside the suicide bomber that was lynched.
