This is a hot mess! A transgender woman has had at least nine mug shots taken since the fall of 2010, now says she is being recognized by people on the street because of it.

29 year old Sole Phillips, legally named Phillip Sole, was arrested again last week. “It’s weird, you get recognized for being a criminal,” Phillips said in a jailhouse interview. She told ABC15’s Corey Rangel that she would rather be recognized for something illegal than not recognized at all.

“I want a reality show because I think people would find me hilarious.” Phillips’ mug shots have appeared online and in the newspaper, “AZ Slammer.” “It’s my crazy hair!” she said when asked why people recognize her. Drug charges are the main reason Phillips continues to be incarcerated.

An admitted addict, she told ABC15 that she’s hoping the judge releases her to a rehabilitation center instead of a prison sentence, but understands prison is a possibility. “I am tired of being locked up,” she said. Typically, when faced with the option of setting a bond for a suspected criminal, judges will not consider prior arrests, said the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The judge usually just considers the possibility of the defendant missing his or her next court date and the level of violence they pose to the community. If the suspect can be trusted to appear at court and does not have violent tendencies then he or she may be bonded out; that may be the reason Phillips has continued to be eligible for bond.

I hope VH1 don’t call this dude smh…
