Stop Playing Politics With Suntai’s Health – Suswam

12Nigerians have been cautioned against playing politics with the health condition of Taraba State Governor, Danbaba Suntai, who is currently recuperating at the Sea View Hospital Rehabilitation Centre, New York, United States of America, after a plane accident in October last year.

Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, who gave the advice while speaking with journalists in Makurdi on Tuesday, said  that the ailing governor is fast recuperating and dismissed rumours that he (Suntai) lost his memory from injuries sustained during the crash over eight months ago.

“It is not true that he (Suntai) lost his memory. I visited him when I travelled to America. He is okay and doing everything by himself. In fact, they brought food while I was there and he even invited me to eat with him. Even if it were true that he lost his memory, he is fast recuperating”, he said.

Suswam further added that Suntai’s present state does not in any way indicate that he was involved in a serious mishap and warned those peddling rumours for political relevance to desist in their own interest.
