Three suspected Boko Haram members met their waterloo Saturday evening as they were reportedly killed by an angry mob in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.

The suspected terrorists, who reportedly arrived from Bama council area to the El- Amin Daggash Mosque in the Government Reserved Area (GRA) Maiduguri; during Tafsir (Ramadan Preaching) to kill the preacher, Modu Mustapha, ran out of luck when they were lynched by a mob.

Information Nigeria learnt that the suspected terrorists came in a Golf Saloon car and one tricycle armed with AK47 rifles and a pistol before they met their untimely death.

Maiduguri had been a hot bed of Boko Haram activities for the past two years and only began to witness some level of peace and improved security with the deployment of Special Forces to the state following the declaration of state of emergency by President Goodluck Jonathan in May.
