Super Eagles forward Bown Ideye was among the goalscorers for Dynamo Kiev in their UEFA Europa League group stage qualifier victory on Thursday.
Ideye scored a stunning goal in the 52 minute for the Russian club, maintaining a 3-2 lead moving into the second leg at home against Kazakhstani club, Aktobe.
The duo of Ideye and compatriot, Lukman Haruna, combined brilliantly to slot in Dynamo’s second of the night as the 24-year-old received a through pass from the edge of the box, rounded the hosts’ keeper, Andrey Sidenikov before slamming home into an empty net.
The striker turned provider five minutes later by placing a sublime pass to the feet of Younes Belhanda who promptly fired in the visitors’ third goal.
The return leg comes up on Wednesday 28 in Kiev.
