Malawi national team coach Tom Saintfiet claims the Football Association of Malawi (Fam) has reported Nigeria’s Super Eagles handler Stephen Keshi to world football governing body Fifa over a racist jibe after ‘The Big Boss’ described him as “a white dude”.
Saintfiet said on Tuesday that the Fam had penned down a complaint to the Fifa over comments made by Keshi and are “waiting for Fifa’s response.”
The development was prompted by the Fam written concerns to Fifa over the choice of Calabar for the September 7 final Group F qualifying match between both nations, on security basis.
Keshi responded to the demands of the Fam on an African TV show, saying: “I think the coach of Malawi is crazy… He is not an African person, he is a white dude. He should go back to Belgium.”
