Nigeria’s senior women national team lost to China in the second of a two-legged international friendly on Thursday.
The reigning world champions beat the coach Edwin Okon-led team by 2-0 at the Fukuda Denshi Arena in Chiba.
Mizusho Sakaguchi and Aya Miyama (penalty) scored for the Asians as the Sasaki Norio’s ladies maintained their supremacy over the six-time African champions.
China had most of the possession in the opening period of the game but failed to create clear-cut chances from play.
