Paris St-Germain (PSG) are without captain Thiago Silva for an unknown period after the Brazilian defender limped out of Sunday’s clash against Monaco with a thigh injury.
A Radamel Falcao’s equalizer cancelled out Zlatan Ibrahimovich’s early opener inside 21 minutes at the Parcdes Princes, as neither side could find a winner after 90 minutes.
PSG dominated had much of the possession but failed to creates clear-cut chances from them.
Unfortunately for coach Laurent Blanc, Silva limped off after 15 minutes.
“The MRI test carried out on Thiago Silva confirmed a muscle tear in the left thigh,” read a statement on the club website on Monday.
“The length of his absence will be revealed at a later time depending on the evolution of the injury.”

However, Monaco’s star summer signing Edinson Cavani continued to struggle for his first goal since moving to the newcomers.
Cavani has found it difficult to fit into Blanc’s 4-3-3 formation since switching to last season Ligue 1 winners as Ibrahimovich assumed the responsibility of proving a point for the Parisians while falcaon dazzled for Claudio Ranieri’s men.
