Manchester City midfielder David Silva is set for about a month hiatus from the beautiful game due to a calf injury sustained midweek.
The Spain international limped out of the 5-2 win over CSKA Moscow on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League.
He is likely to miss five matches, but could be in contention to return at Southampton on 7 December.
The Spaniard has scored three goals in seven Premier League starts this season.

However, captain Vincent Kompany will hopefully be available for the ‘Sky Blues’s’ home game against Tottenham Hotspur on 24 November following a thigh injury which has kept the Belgian out of action since the beginning of October.
