Mexico U-17 coach Raul Guttierez claims his better understanding of the Golden Eaglets will be an added advantage for his side as both Group F teams clash in Friday’s final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Nigeria humiliated the defending champions in the opening group game of the ongoing tournament in Al Ain, UAE, on October 19, but the Mexicans have since recorded some impressive results, including their 3-0 semi-final victory over Argentina.
“I now know the Nigerians better,” Guttierez said. “The last time we played, I did not know them well but I have since learnt a lot from them and I think that is advantage for my team.”
The match will be played at the Abu Dhabi stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 5pm (Nigerian time)
