Acting governor of Taraba State, Alhaji Garba Umar has called on Christians to uphold the virtues of Jesus Christ to promote positive change in society.
Umar, who made this known yesterday in a Christmas message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Kefas Sule, added that the season should be used to ponder over the significance of the coming of Jesus Christ and reflect on his lifestyle.
“We must remember that Christ lived a life of humility, selflessness, love and taught his followers to be a people that love peace”, he said.
The statement also urged Christians to use this period to pray for the government and people of the state and the country at large.
It also added that the administration would continue to work hard to improve the quality of lives of the people.
