Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike is set to undergo a scan on a thigh injury he sustained during Fenerbahce’s 2-1 win at Konyaspor on Monday night.
Emenike was substituted in the 80th minute of his side’s win after suffering a partial tear on his right thigh muscle.
Subsequent scan will be carried out on the player on Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury.
The Afcon 2013 highest goal scorer suffered a hamstring injury, which ruled him out of the final against Burkina Faso before a knee injury ruled him out of the latter part of the Russian League season, when he was still with Spartak Moscow.
He has scored eight goals in 17 league games since completing an £11.2m move to the Istanbul club.
