Yola Airport To Commence International Flights This Year – Oduah

Barring any unforeseen circumstance, the Yola International Airport, Adamawa State, will commence international flight operations this year, Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, assured yesterday

She stated that all necessary modalities to ensure the flights commence as projected, have been finalized.

The minister also directed the airport authorities to begin judicious utilization of the newly built terminal before its inauguration.

She spoke yesterday during an official inspection tour to Yola.

A visibly elated Ms. Oduah expressed satisfaction with the quality of work executed, saying that the airport can now stand shoulder-to-shoulder with its contemporaries anywhere in the world.

According to her: “The official commissioning of the airport project is just a matter of time; for us to officially commission the Airport, we just need to do a little touch as the work has been completed save for some little things that need to be done.

“The terminal as it is now is comparable to any terminal anywhere in the world.

“We are proud of what we were able to accomplished, here, we thank God for the strength to be able to do that”, the minister stated.
