Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says the Reds are “on the right road” to becoming English champions for the first time since 1991.
The Reds are second in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.
“It may or may not be this year but there’s no doubt we’re on the right road to winning a title here,” says the Northern Irishman ahead of Wednesday’s home Premier League match against Sunderland.
“We are nowhere near the finished article. There is a hell of a long way to go this season, but the players playing with no fear.”
