Arch-bishop of the Enugu Province of the Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma, Thursday warned members and sponsors of the outlawed Islamist sect, Boko Haram to stay away from the south-east zone as any of the group’s activities noticed in the zone would be treated as a direct invitation to war.

The Anglican cleric gave this warning following the recent interception of suspected Boko Haram members in Abia and Enugu states.

According to him, with the incessant bombings across the country, the forthcoming 2015 general elections might as well be sitting on a keg of gun-powder, as nobody is safe anymore in Nigeria.

He therefore stated that time has come for the federal government to adopt a radical approach in checkmating the activities of Boko Haram.
