The Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Kaduna State chapter, has pledged to mobilize support for Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero in the 2015 elections.
Speaking during the payment of gratuity to retired civil servants in the state yesterday, State Chairman of NUP, Alhaji Abdulramalan Kwarbai, said the union appreciates the modalities the governor used in raising funds for the payment of pensioners’ entitlement across the local government areas.
He said: “We want to place on record the union’s appreciation to Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, on the modalities he has applied in raising funds for the payment of retirees’ entitlements. Therefore, the community of Kaduna State pensioners are fully behind him for the 2015 elections. We will mobilize our members to vote for you”.
