Crystal Palace have signed Brede Hangeland on a free transfer.
The ex-Fulham defender left Craven Cottage following the club’s relegation to the Championship last season.
After drawing the curtain on his six-year stay a Fulham, Hangeland, 33, have agreed a one-year contract with the ‘Eagles’.
“All the things I’ve heard about this club- the manager, players, staff- it’s all been good and I’ve seen that for myself this morning,” said the Norway skipper, who has been capped 91 times on the international stage.
He joined Fulham in January 2008 from Danish outfit FC Copenhagen and made more than 270 appearances for the Cottagers.
